Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) operating across Bapatla district are helping cultivators improve market access and secure better prices for agricultural produce. Through collective marketing, farmers can negotiate directly with buyers, reduce transportation costs, and access storage facilities more effectively.
Officials stated that strengthening FPOs remains a priority as they play a crucial role in improving farmer incomes and reducing dependence on intermediaries. Training programs on value addition, branding, and digital marketing are also being conducted for member farmers.
